Service Representative – Car Wash

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist with on-site car washes by conducting preventative maintenance and calibrating chemical dispensing systems.

• Evaluate and test chemical application systems and wash equipment to ensure they function correctly.

• Diagnose problems and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.

• Oversee multiple customer locations within the designated geographic area.

• Educate customers on the proper use of chemicals and equipment.

• Maintain car wash equipment through repairs, maintenance, installation replacements, chemical testing, and inventory management.

• Fill out onsite inspection reports and inform site and corporate leaders about issues or corrective measures.

• Address technical challenges faced by customers and aid in process enhancements.

• Interact with customers, team members, and cross-functional support staff via phone, virtually, and in person.

• Travel to assigned customer locations to deliver services.

• Uphold safe working practices and responsible vehicle operation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Reside in the greater Houston, TX area.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial fields is preferred.

• Mechanical knowledge in electrical systems and pipefitting is advantageous.

• Capability to work remotely on installations for periods of up to 2 weeks.

• Willingness to work overtime, including evenings and weekends.

• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Competence in managing shifting priorities and adapting to changes in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in technical and mechanical onsite maintenance and testing.

• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.

• Willing to travel up to 30%, which may include some overnight stays.
