This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide exceptional service to policyholders, beneficiaries, and Financial Professionals.
• Handle incoming client inquiries with professionalism, care, and precision.
• Attend to callers’ needs, resolve inquiries, and educate them on policy specifics.
• Offer emotional support and advocate for policyholders within the organization.
• Investigate and follow up on standard inquiries and issues.
• Utilize administration systems, workflow tools, and imaging tools to collect and document information.
• Process routine financial and non-financial transactions while maintaining accurate records.
• Suggest and implement process enhancements to elevate customer experience.
• Achieve individual and team performance targets as well as service metrics.
• Appropriately escalate complex issues.
• Comply with the company’s internal controls framework along with all policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in project teams as necessary.
• Work a Monday–Friday schedule between 8am ET and 6pm ET.
• Fulfill regulatory and job training requirements and undertake other assigned tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• 1–3 years of relevant customer service experience in life insurance, annuities, or financial services is required.
• Experience with life insurance/annuity products is essential.
• Proven customer service experience in a contact center is required.
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook is necessary.
• A customer service attitude that reflects professionalism, confidence, and a friendly, supportive phone demeanor.
• Capability to understand and convey complex life insurance and/or annuity product information and business processes.
• Proficiency in navigating multiple systems and resources.
• Strong analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with robust problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage various tasks, adapt to shifting environments, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team setting.
• FINRA Series 6 license is highly preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred.
• Relevant industry certifications such as LOMA are preferred.
• Familiarity with Five9 systems is preferred.
• Some positions may require proficiency in Spanish.
