This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead and supervise a team of HVAC service technicians, dispatchers, and support staff.
• Oversee day-to-day service operations, which includes scheduling, dispatching, work assignments, and managing customer escalations.
• Facilitate the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of HVAC systems in mission-critical data center settings.
• Develop and enhance processes to boost service efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
• Establish strong relationships with customers, contractors, and service partners.
• Visit customer locations and assist field teams as necessary.
• Monitor service performance metrics, including response times, equipment uptime, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage service inventory, tools, equipment, and resources effectively.
• Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance for the service operations.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and develop service team members.
• Ensure compliance of field operations with safety requirements, customer standards, and relevant industry regulations.
• Review and provide support for estimates related to large or specialized HVAC service projects.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement new tools and processes.
• Over 10 years of HVAC service or related experience, including more than 5 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Proven experience in leading field service teams and managing service operations.
• Strong skills in customer relationship management and conflict resolution.
• Familiarity with scheduling, dispatching, service management, or project management systems.
• Understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and operational performance metrics.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• A Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check, when applicable.
• HVAC certification or licensing is highly preferred.
