Service Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Build customer loyalty and retention by providing innovative, customer-centric, and value-added services.

• Develop and inspire a high-quality service team by enhancing skill sets and utilizing performance management tools to maximize employee engagement and foster sustained superior performance.

• Plan resources for ongoing service contracts and address emergency service requirements.

• Manage performance by assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of service personnel concerning customer service and operational plan objectives.

• Oversee EHS standards and promote behavior-based safety.

• Maintain quality standards by supervising staff assigned to projects and inspecting job sites.

• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns, implementing corrective measures, and maintaining communication with customers and assigned staff.

• Establish a professional rapport with customers and consistently interface to provide accurate status updates and project reviews.

• Report on financial projections.

• Regular travel is required, including some overnight trips.


⛳️ Requirements

• Degree/equivalent or technical school education; four (4) to ten (10) years of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience that is equivalent.

• Proficient knowledge of office equipment and Microsoft Office products.

• Familiarity with Compressed Air Systems.

• Domestic travel is required, with occasional international travel as well.

• Previous experience in the compressed industry is advantageous.

• Understanding of EHS processes, documentation, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Personal Safety.

• Friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• This role involves direct customer interaction; candidates need to be confident, courteous, and professional in all circumstances, demonstrating sound judgment and the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Experience in financial forecasting is necessary.
