Service Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Supervise all technicians and manage daily operations within the service department

• Achieve a technician utilization rate of 85% or higher

• Maintain a service billing efficiency ratio exceeding 75%

• Keep technician labor costs at or below 28% of total revenue

• Ensure that training objectives and goals for technicians are met

• Confirm that accepted best practices are being implemented at the shop location

• Assist in the recruitment process and evaluate technician performance

• Facilitate coordination of work orders between the parts and service departments

• Guarantee that shop jobs are completed promptly and that safety issues are addressed

• Delegate daily responsibilities and job assignments

• Maintain optimal inventory levels for service vans

• Oversee the cleanliness of the shop and ensure necessary paperwork is completed for timely billing

• Manage a Preventative Maintenance program

• Review technician productivity reports

• Interact with customers and coworkers in a professional manner

• Keep accurate records, forms, documents, and maintain open communications

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant experience and/or training in a service-related environment

• Experience in fleet service operations or a related field

• Must comply with all Kenco Corporate Safety and Quality Procedures

• Anticipate approximately 25% or less travel

• A passport is not mandatory, but it is recommended
