This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Ensuring the exceptional operation of Budderfly HVAC Units within your designated geographic region. This encompasses the maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems and equipment.
• Identifying maintenance risks associated with HVAC/R equipment.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues within HVAC/R systems.
• Conducting commissioning checks of HVAC Units to guarantee ongoing, efficient performance. This involves checking and adjusting HVAC RTU controller settings alongside the mechanical functionality of the units.
• Performing physical maintenance on Budderfly HVAC Units, which includes but is not limited to: changing filters, cleaning coils, inspecting/replacing belts, and examining units for any mechanical failures.
• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, as well as delivering warranty services.
• Executing emergency repairs swiftly and effectively.
• Maintaining daily logs and records of all activities in the Company work order system.
• Ensuring adherence to relevant State and Federal regulations and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Assisting customers with their inquiries.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC/R systems.
• Must possess a South Carolina HVAC license, which typically necessitates a residential HVAC certificate, journeyman unlimited certificate, or master mechanical certificate.
• Experience with HVAC Controls is essential. Familiarity with Lennox Core Controllers and Carrier SystemVu controllers is advantageous.
• Ability to identify control and mechanical issues before they escalate.
