This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Ensuring the excellent operation of Budderfly HVAC Units within your designated area, which includes the maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems and equipment.
• Identifying potential maintenance risks associated with HVAC/R equipment.
• Diagnosing both electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC/R systems.
• Conducting commissioning checks of HVAC Units to guarantee their efficient operation, which encompasses verifying and adjusting HVAC RTU controller configurations alongside the mechanical functioning of the units.
• Providing routine physical maintenance for Budderfly HVAC Units, including tasks such as changing filters, cleaning coils, inspecting and replacing belts, and examining units for other mechanical failures.
• Responding promptly to Emergency Service Calls.
• Cleaning, adjusting, repairing systems, and executing warranty services.
• Carrying out emergency repairs quickly and effectively.
• Maintaining daily logs and records of all operations within the Company work order system.
• Ensuring adherence to relevant State and Federal standards, as well as the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Assisting customers with their inquiries.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a service technician working on HVAC/R systems.
• Possession of a Massachusetts Refrigeration Contractors License or currently pursuing one; EPA Certification is also mandatory.
• Experience with HVAC Controls; familiarity with Lennox Core Controllers and Carrier SystemVu controllers is advantageous.
• Ability to identify control and mechanical issues before they escalate.
