This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Ensuring the outstanding operation of Budderfly HVAC Units in your designated geographic area. This encompasses the maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems and equipment.

• Identifying potential maintenance risks associated with HVAC/R equipment.

• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues within HVAC/R systems.

• Conducting commissioning checks of HVAC Units to guarantee ongoing, efficient operation. This includes verifying and adjusting HVAC RTU controller configurations as well as the mechanical functionality of the units.

• Providing hands-on maintenance for Budderfly HVAC Units, which includes, but is not limited to: changing filters, cleaning coils, inspecting/replacing belts, and checking units for additional mechanical failures.

• Responding to emergency service calls during nights and weekends while on-call.

• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, as well as performing warranty services.

• Executing emergency repairs quickly and effectively.

• Maintaining daily logs and records of all activities within the Company work order system.

• Ensuring adherence to relevant State and Federal standards, along with compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

• Meeting service standards, following work instructions, and addressing customers' requirements.

• Assisting customers with their inquiries.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a service technician working on HVAC/R systems.

• EPA Certification is mandatory.

• Experience with HVAC Controls; familiarity with Lennox Core Controllers and Carrier SystemVu controllers is advantageous.

• Ability to identify control and mechanical issues before they escalate.

• A passion for continuous learning, supported by your organization, both technically and professionally.

• A desire to advance professionally beyond merely being “just a filter changer.”

• A commitment to help cultivate a developing team of HVAC/R technicians in your region.

• A customer-focused and safety-oriented individual.

• Willingness to travel within Cincinnati, OH, and neighboring areas.

• Flexibility is essential, including working some weekends and being available for on-call responsibilities, which may involve nights and weekends.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate across organizational teams.
