Service Excellence Lead HVAC Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana.

📋 Description

• Ensure the seamless operation of Budderfly HVAC Units within the designated geographic area.

• Maintain and execute repairs on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment.

• Identify potential maintenance risks associated with HVAC/R equipment.

• Diagnose both electrical and mechanical issues in HVAC/R systems.

• Conduct commissioning checks on HVAC units and rectify RTU controller configurations as necessary.

• Carry out physical maintenance tasks, including changing filters, cleaning coils, inspecting and replacing belts, and checking units for mechanical failures.

• Clean, adjust, and repair systems while also performing warranty services.

• Execute emergency repairs in a prompt and efficient manner.

• Maintain daily logs and records using the Company work order system.

• Ensure adherence to relevant State and Federal standards as well as the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

• Comply with service standards, work instructions, and customer specifications.

• Assist with customer inquiries.

• Travel within Helena, MT, and nearby areas.

• Availability to work some weekends; on-call duties are not required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC/R systems.

• EPA 608 Certification is mandatory.

• Experience with HVAC Controls.

• Familiarity with Lennox Core Controllers and Carrier SystemVu controllers is advantageous.

• Ability to identify control and mechanical issues before they escalate.

• A customer- and safety-oriented mindset.

• Willingness to travel within Helena, MT, and surrounding areas.

• Flexibility to work some weekends.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively across organizational teams.
