
Service Excellence HVAC/R Lead Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Ensure the ongoing excellent performance of Budderfly HVAC Units within your designated geographic area, which includes the maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems and equipment.
• Identify maintenance risks associated with HVAC/R equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC/R systems.
• Execute commissioning checks on HVAC Units to guarantee efficient operation, including verifying and adjusting HVAC RTU controller configurations alongside the mechanical functionality of the units.
• Perform physical maintenance on Budderfly HVAC Units, including but not limited to changing filters, cleaning coils, inspecting and replacing belts, and examining units for other mechanical failures.
• Respond to Emergency Service Calls during nights and weekends when on-call.
• Clean, adjust, and repair systems, as well as conduct warranty services.
• Carry out emergency repairs swiftly and effectively.
• Maintain daily logs and records of all activities in the Company work order system.
• Ensure adherence to relevant State and Federal standards as well as the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Follow service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Assist with customer inquiries.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC/R systems.
• An HVAC Contractor License and EPA Certification are mandatory.
• Experience with HVAC Controls is essential, and familiarity with Lennox Core Controllers and Carrier SystemVu controllers is advantageous.
• Ability to identify control and mechanical issues before they escalate.
