
Service Excellence HVAC/R Lead Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Ensuring the exceptional performance of Budderfly HVAC Units within your designated region, encompassing the maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems and equipment.
• Identifying potential maintenance risks associated with HVAC/R equipment.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues related to HVAC/R systems.
• Conducting commissioning checks of HVAC Units to guarantee ongoing, efficient operation, which includes verifying and adjusting HVAC RTU controller configurations alongside the mechanical functionality of the units.
• Carrying out physical maintenance on Budderfly HVAC Units, which includes, but is not limited to, changing filters, cleaning coils, inspecting/replacing belts, and examining units for other mechanical failures.
• Responding to Emergency Service Calls during nights and weekends (when on-call once a week/month).
• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems while performing warranty services.
• Executing emergency repairs in a prompt and efficient manner.
• Maintaining daily logs and records of all activities in the Company work order system.
• Ensuring adherence to applicable State and Federal standards as well as the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Assisting customers with their inquiries.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a service technician working with HVAC/R systems.
• Experience with HVAC Controls; familiarity with Lennox Core Controllers and Carrier SystemVu controllers is advantageous.
• Ability to identify control and mechanical problems before they escalate.
