
Server Backend Developer – Go, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Designing, constructing, and sustaining backend services for the Imunify360 server platform;
• Enhancing and optimizing high-throughput, fault-tolerant messaging and data processing pipelines;
• Managing and maintaining essential server components, such as proxies, message brokers, caches, and databases;
• Analyzing and resolving intricate issues in distributed systems to ensure reliability and uptime;
• Developing and upholding unit and integration tests to guarantee robust and maintainable code;
• Collaborating with Infrastructure, Monitoring, and other product teams to refine architecture and enhance system performance;
• Overseeing production services utilizing Grafana, Telegraf, and associated tools, proactively tackling bottlenecks and scaling issues;
• Enhancing CI/CD pipelines for automated and efficient deployments;
• Engaging in design reviews, incident analysis, and contributing to the long-term technical vision of the team.
• Over 5 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer;
• Experience with high-load applications, handling approximately 100k requests per second;
• Strong expertise in **Golang** as the primary development language (including practical experience with goroutines), and familiarity with **Python**, particularly in asyncio-based development;
• Experience in maintaining **Linux** services and web applications on Linux systems;
• Knowledge in **AI engineering**: LLM, RAG, cost optimization techniques, prompt engineering, etc.;
• Practical experience with distributed systems and messaging frameworks such as RabbitMQ, Kafka (or similar);
• Experience with MongoDB and Redis (including distributed caching and local RPC use cases);
• Familiarity with ClickHouse (or other columnar databases) for large-scale analytics;
• Hands-on experience with Docker for both local development and production environments;
• Familiarity with HAProxy or similar load balancing/proxy solutions;
• Strong grasp of high-throughput service design and challenges within distributed systems;
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated deployment workflows, with experience creating these pipelines from the ground up being advantageous;
• Excellent debugging capabilities, with the ability to delve into network, data, and system-level issues;
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working within a distributed team;
• Proficiency in spoken and written English at least at an upper-intermediate level.
• **Nice to have:**
• Experience with configuration management systems (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Salt);
• Familiarity with monitoring and metrics stacks (Grafana, Mimir, Graphite, Telegraf);
• Experience with DNS systems (Unbound or similar).
