This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Oversee the strategy and execution of SEO/GEO and organic growth.
• Establish and guide the organic growth approach for OLX, ZAP, and Viva Real.
• Create a comprehensive SEO roadmap that aligns with business goals.
• Transition SEO from merely a traffic source to a significant driver of additional value.
• Organize and expand both on-page and off-page content strategies.
• Lead large-scale content creation initiatives.
• Integrate content throughout the user experience.
• Generate unique content leveraging proprietary data.
• Formulate a strong digital PR and backlink acquisition strategy.
• Cultivate partnerships with social media teams, publishers, and channels.
• Enhance organic share of voice in comparison to competitors.
• Direct the technical evolution backlog in collaboration with engineering and product teams.
• Ensure optimal performance in Core Web Vitals, indexing and crawling, information architecture, rendering, and overall performance.
• Influence product roadmaps to maximize organic outcomes.
• Develop strategies for presence in LLMs and answer engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.).
• Create content optimized for Answer Engines (AEO).
• Monitor and enhance presence in AI-mediated search environments.
• Establish a model to assess SEO impact beyond mere sessions.
• Update metrics to encompass organic leads, incremental revenue, share of voice, and visibility in LLMs.
• Collaborate closely with the data team for in-depth analyses.
• Lead and nurture the SEO team.
• Oversee external vendors and partners.
• Ensure high-quality and swift execution of tasks.
• Collaborate cohesively with media, CRM, product, data, and the Martech teams.
• Extensive experience in SEO within large-scale digital firms (marketplaces, e-commerce, classifieds, or similar sectors).
• Relevant expertise in driving organic growth (traffic, leads, or revenue).
• Proficient in technical SEO, content strategy, and off-page tactics.
• Experience in integrating SEO with product and engineering teams.
• Background in both B2C and B2B settings.
• Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
• Analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
• High level of critical thinking and a low tolerance for subpar results.
• Ability to influence key stakeholders (product, engineering, leadership).
• Hands-on approach with a systems-thinking mindset.
• Excellent prioritization skills in complex environments.
• Proficient in advanced English.
• Differentiators: Experience with marketplaces (both supply and demand sides), knowledge of AEO / GEO / AI Search, experience utilizing proprietary data for content, familiarity with managing large volumes of pages (millions of URLs), and experience with tools like Botify, GSC, BigQuery, etc.
