This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.
• Develop high-quality backlinks for key landing pages in Thailand while seeking opportunities for brand mentions.
• Report directly to the Thailand SEO Country Lead and the Global Outreach Lead.
• Implement local strategies while also contributing to global coordination efforts.
• Identify opportunities, suggest optimizations, participate in strategy discussions, and address challenges creatively.
• Achieve measurable authority growth that enhances Canva's rankings and search visibility.
• Collaborate with your Country SEO Lead and Global Outreach Lead to pinpoint priority landing pages and establish backlink goals.
• Research and compile prospect lists utilizing Canva's established frameworks.
• Craft personalized, culturally relevant outreach emails that engage publishers and editors in Thailand.
• Oversee the complete outreach workflow.
• Ensure all backlinks adhere to Canva's stringent white-hat quality standards.
• Monitor link placements for compliance, indexation, and longevity.
• Identify primary platforms where our brand can receive advantageous recognition.
• Native Thai speaker with proficiency in business-level English.
• Strong knowledge of Thailand's digital publishing landscape, content creator ecosystem, and outreach practices.
• Capability to recognize locally relevant opportunities that might be overlooked by non-locals.
• 1-2 years of experience in link building, digital PR, content marketing, or similar outreach-focused positions.
• Basic understanding of search engine operations and the characteristics of a high-quality backlink.
• Familiarity with SEO tools (such as Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog) or a willingness to learn quickly.
• Comfortable utilizing AI tools for drafting, research, and analysis.
• Basic understanding of how Large Language Models (LLMs) function.
• Exceptional attention to detail—capable of meticulously following detailed written instructions and quality standards.
• Organized and methodical in tracking outreach activities, managing contacts, and reporting on progress.
• Proactive in proposing optimizations, identifying opportunities, and creatively solving problems without waiting for instructions.
• Flourishes in a highly collaborative environment—both within the global SEO team and across various country functions (marketing, community, PR).
