This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kenya.
• Develop and implement on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies for various client accounts.
• Conduct thorough keyword research to uncover opportunities for organic growth.
• Perform regular SEO audits and prioritize actionable improvements for each client's site.
• Optimize page titles, meta descriptions, header structures, internal linking, and URL architecture.
• Monitor and enhance Core Web Vitals, page speed, mobile usability, and crawlability.
• Create and manage backlink strategies to enhance domain authority.
• Execute on-site updates across client websites, including content edits, page creation, and structural modifications.
• Work proficiently within Webflow and other website builders or CMS platforms such as WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, or Shopify.
• Implement SEO recommendations directly on client websites without the need for a separate development team.
• Ensure that all web pages are optimized for search at the time of publishing or updating.
• Build, maintain, and manage detailed SEO tracking spreadsheets and reporting dashboards using Excel or Google Sheets.
• Track keyword rankings, organic traffic trends, click-through rates, and conversion performance across all client accounts.
• Analyze data to identify patterns, issues, and opportunities, translating findings into clear recommendations.
• Prepare and present regular SEO performance reports for internal teams and clients.
• Utilize tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz to inform strategy and evaluate results.
• Collaborate with the in-house content writer to ensure all content is optimized for target keywords and search intent.
• Provide keyword briefs, content outlines, and SEO direction to support content creation.
• Review and perform minor content updates or SEO adjustments directly on the site as needed.
• Ensure consistent application of meta data, alt text, schema markup, and internal links across all content.
• Manage and maintain XML sitemaps, robots.txt files, and site indexing settings.
• Identify and resolve crawl errors, redirect chains, broken links, and duplicate content issues.
• Implement structured data and schema markup to enhance search appearance.
• Coordinate with web teams or platforms to address technical issues affecting search performance.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally within an agency or multi-client environment.
• Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets — comfortable creating reports, pivot tables, and tracking systems from scratch.
• Proven experience making updates directly within Webflow or similar website builders.
• Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), and at least one SEO platform such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz.
• Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices.
• Capable of managing multiple client accounts simultaneously with a keen attention to detail and organization.
• Excellent written communication skills for reporting and client-facing documentation.
• Experience with Webflow specifically, including the ability to build or redesign pages within the platform.
• Web design skills — the capability to create visually appealing, conversion-focused pages is a significant advantage.
• Ability to review and edit content for SEO optimization when support is needed by the content writer.
• Experience with WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, or other CMS platforms alongside Webflow.
• Basic familiarity with HTML and CSS for implementing SEO-related code modifications.
• Google Analytics or Google Ads certification is a plus.
