This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Assume complete responsibility for the SEO strategy and implementation for a range of e-commerce clients.

• Design, implement, and continually enhance SEO strategies that drive quantifiable organic growth.

• Proactively foresee potential risks, addressing issues before they affect performance or client trust.

• Work independently on daily client assignments while collaborating closely with the Marketing Manager on strategic initiatives, complex challenges, and innovation within our SEO services.

• Ensure the effective and proactive execution of client SEO strategies, delivering measurable business outcomes.

• Anticipate obstacles, adjust to changes in search behavior, and consistently achieve significant organic growth for e-commerce clients.

• Handle multiple SEO client accounts, taking full charge of strategy, execution, and results.

• Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, technical audits, and content planning to facilitate long-term organic growth.

• Implement improvements in on-page, technical, and off-page SEO across client websites.

• Optimize product pages, category structures, internal linking, and site architecture for extensive e-commerce catalogs.

• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and marketers to ensure proper implementation of SEO recommendations.

• Adapt SEO strategies to the changing search landscape, including optimization for LLM-powered search, AEO, and GEO.

• Identify SEO risks, technical challenges, and growth opportunities proactively before they impact performance.

• Track performance using analytics and SEO tools, refining strategies based on data and outcomes.

• Prepare clear, actionable reports and recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders.

• Translate intricate SEO data and findings into practical insights that clients can comprehend and act upon.

• Maintain organized documentation of SEO tasks, decisions, and progress across accounts.

• Stay informed about SEO trends, algorithm updates, and emerging best practices in search and e-commerce.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering SEO strategies for e-commerce websites, with approximately 4 to 5 years of hands-on SEO expertise focused on fostering organic growth for online stores.

• Demonstrated history of developing, implementing, and refining SEO strategies that result in measurable enhancements in organic traffic, rankings, and revenue.

• Experience providing SEO services in a client-facing role, preferably working with clients from the United States, understanding their expectations, communication styles, and performance standards.

• Previous experience in an agency setting or as a freelancer managing multiple SEO clients simultaneously, with the ability to prioritize tasks and maintain consistent quality across accounts.

• Strong technical SEO knowledge, encompassing a deep understanding of site architecture, crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and common technical challenges affecting e-commerce websites.

• Hands-on experience with major e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, or similar platforms, along with an understanding of platform-specific SEO considerations.

• Experience optimizing for modern and evolving search environments, including familiarity with AI-driven search, LLM-powered discovery, Answer Engine Optimization, and Generative Engine Optimization.

• High proficiency in SEO and analytics tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console, with the capability to use these platforms effectively to diagnose issues and uncover opportunities.

• Strong analytical abilities to translate complex datasets, audits, and reports into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for both internal teams and clients.

• Strategic and proactive mindset, with the ability to foresee algorithm updates, industry changes, and shifts in search behavior rather than merely responding after the fact.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the capability to work independently, take ownership of challenges, and advance work without constant supervision.

• Strong project management skills, able to manage multiple client accounts, initiatives, and deadlines simultaneously while ensuring structure and attention to detail.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, confidently presenting strategies, results, and recommendations to clients in a clear and professional manner.

• Highly communicative, proactive, and dependable work ethic, with a strong sense of ownership, transparency, and accountability for assigned client accounts.

• Comfortable working autonomously in a remote or distributed team environment, while effectively collaborating with colleagues as needed.

• Openness to feedback and a commitment to continuous improvement, with a willingness to adapt and refine your approach over time.

• Must be available and responsive during standard office hours in Slovenia and able to consistently work full-time.

• A stable internet connection and a reliable laptop or PC suitable for professional SEO work are required.
