This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.
• Establish a documented, repeatable SEO framework that includes title structure (brand, product type, gender, color, key features, size hierarchy), bullet structure (benefit-oriented rather than feature-oriented), product descriptions, A+ content, and backend search terms.
• Develop a keyword research methodology utilizing DataDive as the primary tool and Helium 10 as the secondary tool. Document the complete workflow with Loom video walkthroughs in English.
• Create a clear information hierarchy: determining the order of elements in the title, what enhances visibility, and where each keyword category should be placed.
• Publish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to the team's master SOP document and provide training to the catalog team (Milica, Bojana) on the new standards.
• Develop a tiered prioritization model for SEO investments: prioritize high-velocity Nike Team replenishment ASINs and listings linked to original UPCs for comprehensive optimization; items with closeout status or short life cycles will receive a lighter touch.
• Optimize new listings at the point of creation. Collaborate with the catalog team to ensure SEO is integrated from the start rather than retroactively adjusted.
• Methodically work through the existing catalog (approximately 2,500 to 2,800 ASINs) starting with those that generate the highest revenue and have the lowest current quality, optimizing titles, bullets, descriptions, and backend search terms.
• Monitor performance metrics for each optimized ASIN before and after: rank changes, session counts, conversion rates, and unit velocity.
• Take charge of the DataDive workflow initiated by our PPC lead. Enhance, deepen, and standardize the process.
• Create keyword libraries categorized by product type (Nike Team apparel, Adidas, footwear, accessories) that support both SEO and PPC efforts.
• Collaborate with our PPC lead to ensure that SEO keyword research and PPC campaign keywords are aligned and not duplicated.
• Stay updated on changes to Amazon's search algorithms, AI-search behavior, and best practices for indexing on reseller listings (without Brand Registry access).
• Identify listings that are underperforming due to catalog issues (poor titles, inadequate images, missing backend attributes, suppressed detail pages) and work with the catalog team to implement fixes.
• Collaborate with the catalog team to establish image quality standards: define minimum resolution requirements, document approved image sources, and contribute to a centralized image-source database.
• Identify and address issues with variation structures, missing attributes, and inconsistent color or value data that may be negatively affecting rankings.
• Provide a weekly SEO performance report detailing optimized ASINs, before-and-after KPIs, current backlog, and priorities for the upcoming week.
• Compile a monthly summary that correlates SEO efforts with catalog-level outcomes (organic session growth, conversion increases, organic rank shifts on tracked keywords).
• Maintain an ongoing SEO scorecard for the leadership team to review.
• 3+ years of direct experience in Amazon SEO and listing optimization, preferably with an Amazon reseller, agency, or aggregator (not solely as a 1P brand owner).
• Strong proficiency with DataDive or equivalent tools (Helium 10 Cerebro and Magnet, Jungle Scout, SmartScout).
• Proven ability to create Amazon titles, bullets, descriptions, and backend search terms that improve rankings. Bring portfolio examples to the interview.
• In-depth understanding of how Amazon's A9 and COSMO algorithms function for reseller listings compared to brand-owner listings (different leverage points, no Brand Registry tools).
• Hands-on experience with Amazon bulk operations: flat files, listing loaders, Variation Wizard, Amazon Master files, and fixing variation families. You will be expected to execute these tasks directly when necessary.
• Comfortable managing large catalogs (1,000+ ASINs) with limited brand assets. Must be resourceful in sourcing images, color data, and product information from supplier sites and brand pages.
• Excellent written English skills. Capable of producing SOPs, Loom walkthroughs, and structured written updates.
• Strong working knowledge of AI tools, particularly Claude (also ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar). You should already be using AI daily for keyword expansion, competitor analysis, copy drafting, SOP creation, and workflow automation. A Claude Pro account will be provided, and it is expected to be central to your workflow.
• Proficient in prompt engineering: ability to formulate prompts that yield high-quality Amazon SEO outputs (titles, bullets, descriptions, backend search terms) without excessive revisions.
• Nice-to-Have: Prior experience in the athletic, apparel, or footwear categories on Amazon.
• Familiarity with PPC fundamentals to ensure the unification of SEO and PPC keyword libraries.
• Experience connecting Claude or similar tools to data sources (Google Drive, Gmail, Asana, Slack) for integrated reporting and analysis.
• Multi-marketplace SEO experience (Amazon CA, Amazon MX, TikTok Shop, Temu, Shein) for potential future expansion.
• Remote Work: Operate from anywhere—our team is global, and we prioritize work-life balance.
• Growth Opportunities: As a pivotal member, you'll have the opportunity to shape your role and advance with us.
• Innovative Culture: Join a team dedicated to leveraging data to address challenges and drive success in a rapidly changing market.
