SEO Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Develop a prioritized keyword strategy for our niche: real estate lead generation, emphasizing buyer-intent terms over merely branded or broad SEO traffic.

• Map out category, comparison, wholesaler, investor, and agent lead-generation searches, using benchmarks against competitors such as PropStream, RealEstateBees, PropertyLeads, and LeadZolo.

• Take ownership of technical SEO essentials, including title tags, meta descriptions, alt text, schema/structured data, canonical tags, crawlability, and other site-health fundamentals.

• Continue and enhance AEO / GEO initiatives to ensure that classic SEO and AI search visibility progress concurrently rather than one being prioritized over the other.

• Define content and page-level strategies for the site’s highest-intent commercial pages, particularly the marketplace, landing pages, and signup funnel.

• Conduct regular competitive and keyword-gap analyses using tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar, and provide insights on actual market positioning instead of superficial growth percentages.

• Collaborate directly with the development team by creating clear, actionable tickets and ensuring follow-through until technical solutions are implemented.

• Establish reporting that distinctly separates non-branded keyword and traffic growth from branded traffic growth and AI citation counts, providing leadership with a clear view of acquisition metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated success in both technical and strategic SEO, beyond just content or link-building, preferably within a marketplace, lead-generation, SaaS, or real estate context.

• Practical experience with keyword research and competitive gap analysis tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, or equivalent platforms.

• Strong grasp of on-page and technical SEO principles, including schema/structured data, meta tags, canonicalization, crawlability, and Core Web Vitals.

• Familiarity with AEO / GEO and understanding of how AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and AI Overviews display and cite content.

• Experience collaborating directly with a development or engineering team to scope, create tickets, and implement SEO improvements.

• Confident in owning both strategy and reporting, with the capability to present leadership with concrete metrics instead of vague directional updates.

• Excellent English communication skills and comfort in working asynchronously across various time zones.
