This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise all account activities, personnel, and client interactions pertaining to the SEO team.
• Address challenging inquiries and resolve significant client concerns.
• Direct ongoing adjustments to SEO tactics and strategies.
• Create and provide continuous training for the SEO team.
• Manage daily personnel matters.
• Conduct sales demonstrations as needed.
• Carry out technical SEO audits for non-SEO clients.
• Oversee SEO Consultants and ensure quality control of initial and ongoing deliverables, including optimizations, link building, review responses, blog posts, social media content, reports, and client outputs.
• Recruit, dismiss, and supervise department staff.
• Lead monthly evaluations of the SEO team's work.
• Conduct demonstrations alongside the sales team.
• Facilitate communication between departments.
• Implement and support initiatives that contribute to department OKRs, roadmaps, and churn efforts.
• Collaborate with the Training team to enhance education and skill development for the SEO department.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in the industry.
• At least 4 years of experience in SEO.
• Minimum of 5 years in a management role.
• Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in written and verbal communication.
• Familiarity with SEO/site auditing tools, including Screaming Frog.
• Strong content writing and editing skills.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Tool Suite, including Excel and Word.
• Skilled in Google Analytics and data analysis.
• Advanced expertise in Local SEO.
• Preferred knowledge of advanced HTML and CSS.
• Experience across various SEO sectors, such as Legal, Home Services, and Health & Wellness is preferred.
• Preferred experience in public relations and outreach.
• Preferred experience in managing processes for a large team of SEO Consultants.
• Must be a resident of the US.
• The successful candidate must pass a background check as a prerequisite for joining the team.
