SEO Lead Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

📋 Description

• Oversee and refine the editorial standards for all Hub content and its various verticals.

• Guarantee quality assurance within the editorial team through the enforcement of editorial guidelines, effective management of the team, and systematic tracking of both achievements and shortcomings.

• Develop protocols for the editing of AI-generated content, offering constructive feedback to both editors and developers of AI content creation tools to enhance the quality of initial and final drafts.

• Guide senior editors into leadership positions within the team and company by utilizing task delegation, career advancement plans, and ongoing constructive feedback.

• Sanction the design, style, tone, and suitability of our publications for both manual and AI content creation, with an emphasis on conversion, SEO, and user experience.

• Direct the alteration of content within Google Docs while consistently monitoring recurring issues to provide feedback and avert similar problems in new first-draft submissions, ensuring this becomes standard practice for the editorial team.

• Ensure that all content and headlines are optimized for organic search and align with SEO best practices for Google Search and Google News.

• Spearhead innovative content strategies for Google News to transform it into a significant traffic and revenue generation channel.

• Demonstrated experience in an editorial role.

• Proven background in leading an editorial team.

• Experience with AI automation.

• Exceptional proficiency in English writing for both long-form and short-form content.

• Outstanding writing, editing, and creative abilities.

• Exemplary attention to detail.

• A portfolio showcasing previous editorial projects (preferred).

• Experience with Claude Enterprise (preferred).
