SEO, GEO Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• You will enhance traffic and boost ROI for Seer's clients by conducting competitive analysis, performing keyword research, creating content, and building links, while also contributing to the visibility of clients in AI-generated results and generative search experiences.

• You will assist in shaping the organic strategy for a portfolio of clients, developing annual and quarterly roadmaps that factor in both traditional SEO performance and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) visibility in AI-driven search environments.

• You will evaluate the effectiveness of Seer's strategies by generating reports from various resources, including Google Search Console, SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Conductor.

• Utilize tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and automation platforms (like Zapier and APIs) to expedite research, synthesize insights, and support scalable SEO and GEO workflows.

• You will closely monitor your clients' online presence by tracking and reporting changes in traffic, rankings, AI Overview appearances, trends, and conversions.

• You will communicate your insights to clients through email, conference calls, or in-person meetings.

• You will consistently relate all findings back to business objectives. Whether analyzing a report or spotting trends in the data, you maintain a focus on ROI for your clients.

• You possess a genuine enthusiasm for Digital Marketing and approach business and marketing from a comprehensive perspective.

• You consider how GEO integrates within the SEO practice and are eager to experiment with new methods for approaching GEO.

• You can apply your SEO skills, such as keyword research, to gain insights into your clients’ customers and their online behavior.

• You have a foundational understanding of technical SEO, including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and iframes.

• You excel in Microsoft Office, with Excel being your forte!

• You understand that effective communication is not a “one size fits all” approach in managing client relationships, and you tailor your communication style to fit each client.

• You take pride in staying ahead of SEO trends, enjoying reading industry blogs and sharing your insights with others (team members, clients, your network, Seer Blog Post, etc.).

• You have explored the latest tools and resources in the industry, including ChatGPT and GA4, and have begun investigating how AI Overviews affect your clients. You are keen to adopt these new tools and features in your clients' digital marketing strategies.

• While your primary focus is on execution, you are enthusiastic about sharing your opinions and providing strategic recommendations.

• You communicate effectively, whether through emails or presentations, always maintaining a clear and concise style.

• You exhibit strong analytical skills across platforms such as GA4, Adobe, Search Console, and leading SEO tools, with a curiosity about emerging GEO measurement indicators like AI Overview presence, generative citations, and SERP volatility.

• You approach your responsibilities with a sense of urgency and do not require micromanagement to meet deadlines.

• You are not just adept at identifying problems; you also excel at finding solutions! You foresee potential challenges and develop proactive strategies.
