• Adapt crucial English website pages to secure strong rankings for the canva.com/ko_kr subfolder on both Google and Naver.
• Aid Canva in identifying pertinent external websites and partners for link-building opportunities and perform outreach using tailored messaging that aligns with Canva’s brand and ethical standards.
• Maintain precise documentation and tracking of campaigns, link quality, and SEO performance metrics, and relay results to the appropriate Canva stakeholders.
• Ensure all SEO activities strictly comply with white-hat link-building practices and Canva’s quality guidelines.
• Adopt a user-first approach to SEO initiatives, proactively spotting opportunities to enhance the search-to-conversion experience for Korean users.
• Suggest innovative solutions and fresh ideas that improve how Korean users discover and interact with Canva — including on Naver surfaces.
• Stay informed about Korean cultural, social, and digital trends to ensure content remains locally relevant.
• Collaborate with Canva's internal team, including marketers, designers, product managers, the SEO Content Editor, and the SEO Country Lead, to synchronize tone, messaging, goals, and brand standards.

• Native-level fluency in Korean along with strong English communication skills.

• Basic knowledge of SEO principles, content, and link-building best practices — including an understanding of how Naver's algorithm and ecosystem differ from Google.
• Experience with CMS platforms and comfort in working with structured briefs.
• Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Naver Keyword Tool, ScreamingFrog) is a plus.
• Curious and eager to gain knowledge through hands-on experience.
• Reliable and detail-oriented with strong writing skills — a keen eye for detail to catch typos, grammatical issues, and the subtle nuances of requested topics.
• Comfortable asking questions and seeking constructive feedback.
• Thrives in collaborative settings and takes initiative.
• Proactive in identifying enhancements to user experience and sharing ideas, even while learning.
• Brings innovative perspectives and is unafraid to constructively challenge existing methodologies.
• Trend-sensitive — stays current with the latest cultural, social, and digital trends across a wide array of topics in South Korea.
• Growth Mindset: Open to mentorship and constructive criticism.
• Interested in developing strategic thinking over time.
• Enthusiastic about being part of a team with a global impact.
• Future-Oriented & Adaptable Mindset: Business-aware; you consider how your work connects to conversion and growth — not merely rankings and traffic.
• CRO-curious: You are interested in how content and page experience influence user behavior, integrating that understanding into your optimization tasks.
• Curious about emerging channels: You actively explore how discovery is evolving—including AI search, LLMs, social search, and new platforms—and are eager to learn.
• Comfortable with ambiguity: You can experiment with new approaches (like content formatting for AI-generated answers) even when best practices are still being established.
• Channel-agnostic thinking: You recognize that "SEO" increasingly refers to "discoverability"—whether through traditional search engines, AI tools, social platforms, or channels yet to emerge.
• Data-driven adaptability: You can objectively evaluate what is effective and adjust your strategies based on performance and market signals.
• Early adopter energy: You're the kind of individual who actively explores how Canva is presented in new discovery channels, bringing insights and ideas instead of waiting for direction.
• Flexible, remote-friendly working arrangements.
