SEO Content Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Conducting research on education and test preparation topics tailored for a U.S.-based audience.

• Crafting comprehensive outlines informed by keyword research, competitor analysis, and content briefs.

• Composing SEO/EO-optimized articles that effectively balance search engine performance with readability and user intent.

• Integrating marketing claims and product messaging seamlessly within informative content.

• Evaluating performance data and generating insights to inform content enhancements.

• Editing and optimizing previously published articles to boost rankings, visibility, and engagement.

• Designing infographics or visual components to enhance shareability and link potential.

• Ensuring all content is original, precise, well-structured, and consistent with the brand voice.

⛳️ Requirements

• Availability to work with overlapping hours in Pacific Standard Time (minimum of 4 hours between 1 PM – 8 PM PST).

• 3 - 5+ years of professional experience in creating SEO/EO optimized content.

• At least 3 years of experience in marketing content, link-building content, or performance-focused publishing.

• Proficient in utilizing AI writing and research tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Surfer, Clearscope) to enhance content quality, efficiency, SEO performance, and ideation, while maintaining strong editorial judgment and human oversight.

• Excellent copyediting skills with a keen eye for grammar, clarity, and consistency.

• Proven track record of publishing content that generates organic traffic, backlinks, and user engagement.

• In-depth knowledge of on-page SEO best practices, which include:

• Keyword research and alignment with search intent.

• Competitor analysis and SERP evaluation.

• Strategic header structuring (H1–H3 hierarchy).

• Metadata optimization (title tags, meta descriptions).

• Internal linking strategies.

• Readability optimization and considerations for user experience.

• Ability to naturally incorporate keywords without compromising quality or authority.

• Experience in optimizing content for both user experience and search engine performance.

• Exceptional written and spoken English skills.
