SEO, Content Creation Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Assist with tasks related to SEO, including keyword optimization and on-page SEO adjustments.

• Develop and format blog content that is optimized for SEO.

• Upload and manage website content on platforms such as WordPress and Shopify.

• Support content optimization efforts utilizing SEO software and tools.

• Help with keyword research and brainstorming topics for blogs and campaigns.

• Review and enhance content to ensure it meets readability, consistency, and quality standards.

• Monitor and assist in optimizing website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.

• Help maintain organized workflows and project updates via Asana.

• Create captivating social media content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.

• Design visually appealing posts, Stories, and short-form videos using Canva.

• Edit engaging Reels and TikTok videos with text overlays, clips, and trending formats.

• Adapt content to fit platform-specific formats as required.

• Follow established templates, brand guidelines, and creative direction to ensure consistency across clients.

• Assist with the ongoing scheduling of content and content refreshes.

• Experience with SEO software and tools.

• Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.

• Basic to intermediate skills in video editing for TikTok/Reels content.

• Proficient in using Canva for creating social media content.

• Understanding of trends on Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.

• Capacity to work independently while adhering to creative direction.

• Good written communication skills along with basic content writing and editing capabilities.

• Experience with project management tools like Asana.

• Experience in handling multiple brands or client accounts (Nice to Have).

• Strong awareness of current TikTok and Instagram content trends (Nice to Have).

• Experience in creating engaging text-overlay and storyline-driven short-form videos (Nice to Have).

• Ability to identify high-performing, visually appealing content (Nice to Have).

• Experience working with lifestyle footage (Nice to Have).

• Familiarity with SEO tools like Rank Score or Link Artemi (Nice to Have).
