This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Conducting keyword research and planning content strategies
• Crafting SEO-optimized content: developing, structuring, and refining guides, blog posts, landing pages, and web copy
• On-page optimization: enhancing meta data, heading structures, snippets, and existing website text
• Internal linking: establishing and executing linking and cross-linking strategies, and verifying them through audits
• Technical SEO: performing technical audits, assessing Core Web Vitals, and deriving or implementing specific optimizations
• Geo and AI search: preparing content to ensure visibility and citation in AI-generated responses
• Monitoring and reporting: tracking rankings, traffic, and conversions in Google Search Console and Google Analytics, reporting anomalies, and maintaining a maintenance plan
• Local SEO: creating, verifying, and keeping Google Business Profiles updated
• Related marketing topics: conducting competitor analyses, audience research, generating content ideas, designing lead funnels, and developing social media content
• Daily digital operations: assisting with editorial, technical, and organizational tasks
• Basic knowledge of SEO with the aim of creating content that drives conversions.
• More experience is advantageous but not mandatory
• Excellent writing abilities: clear, structured, and impeccable German (at least C2 or native level)
• An understanding that effective content not only informs but also directs readers towards a decision
• A preference for working with tools like SEMrush or Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics — or a willingness to learn them quickly
• Preparedness to independently and thoroughly delve into new subject areas
• Reliability and attention to detail, completing tasks meticulously even when they are intricate or operational
• Strong communication skills and the ability to regularly share progress with the team
• Proficient in common Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
• Availability to commit at least 10 hours per week on a consistent basis
