This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ownership of the SEO Roadmap — Drive and enhance our current SEO strategy by executing technical recommendations, updating metadata, initiating content projects, and exploring optimization opportunities in collaboration with our external SEO consultant.
• Optimization for Answer Engines — Boost PadSplit's visibility and citation presence across platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Bing AI, and other AI-driven search interfaces.
• Development of Content Strategy — Discover and produce high-intent content opportunities that address unmet search demand and reinforce PadSplit's authority in the affordable housing sector.
• Data-Driven Narrative Creation — Organize, optimize, and publish exclusive PadSplit data and research to position the company as a leading source for insights on housing and financial mobility.
• Management of Technical SEO — Oversee crawl health, site structure, Core Web Vitals, indexation, and the implementation of structured data while proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Optimization of Market Pages — Enhance the performance of city-specific and market-focused landing pages while establishing SEO foundations for launching new markets.
• Building Authority — Collaborate with PR, content teams, and external partners to increase high-quality backlinks, brand mentions, and third-party dissemination of PadSplit research.
• Reporting on Performance — Take ownership of SEO reporting and analytics, assessing organic traffic, rankings, conversions, and AI citation visibility while providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Expertise in AEO/GEO — Demonstrated experience in optimizing content and websites for AI-generated search environments through structured data, entity development, and citation-focused content strategies.
• Skills in Technical SEO — Solid understanding of schema markup, crawl analysis, site structure, Core Web Vitals, indexing, and technical auditing tools such as Screaming Frog or Sitebulb.
• Experience with AI Workflows — Proven ability to utilize LLMs and AI tools to automate research, scale content production, streamline analysis, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Knowledge of Content Strategy — Proficiency in aligning content with search intent, developing content briefs, assessing quality, and linking SEO initiatives to business outcomes.
• Proficiency in Analytics — Familiarity with using Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz, or similar platforms to evaluate performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Capability in Project Management — Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple SEO projects simultaneously across technical, content, and authority-building streams.
• Excellence in Communication — Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of producing clear documentation, briefs, recommendations, and updates for stakeholders.
• Analytical Mindset with Data — Ability to interpret performance data, recognize trends, and convert insights into actionable strategies; experience with SQL and familiarity with BI tools like Looker Studio are advantageous.
