Senior/Staff Software Engineer – AI-driven Healthcare Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

• **What You’ll Do**

• - Technical Leadership: Work alongside cross-functional teams to create and enhance a scalable platform. Familiarity with C#, React, SQL, and Azure is advantageous, but we prioritize adaptability and a willingness to learn over specific technology expertise.

• - Architectural Decision-Making: Collaborate with peers to make strategic decisions regarding backend and frontend frameworks, DevOps practices, and scalability approaches.

• - Hands-On AI Involvement: Play a key role in refining existing AI-driven features, troubleshooting issues, and designing new functionalities that integrate seamlessly into our product.

• - Customer-First Focus: Always prioritize patient safety and the needs of healthcare providers. Suggest solutions that achieve significant business and user impact.

• - Ownership & Delivery: Guide features from initial concept through to production, ensuring code quality, adequate testing coverage, reliability, and observability.

• - Mentorship & Team Building: Support less experienced engineers, provide constructive feedback, and foster a culture of continuous learning.

⛳️ Requirements

• **What We’re Looking For**

• - 5+ Years of Industry Experience: A proven history in software engineering that delivers value to customers.

• - Strong Backend & Frontend Skills: While C# and React are beneficial, they are not required if you can quickly learn new technologies. Experience in building scalable APIs (.NET Core, Spring Boot, Node.js, Jakarta EE, etc.) and event-driven architectures is essential.

• - Cloud Experience: Preferably with Azure, although experience with AWS or GCP is also beneficial.

• - Demonstrated Impact: Experience in addressing challenges at the team or group level is a plus.

• - Excellent Communication: Capable of effective collaboration, providing feedback, and conveying complex technical ideas simply.

• - Curiosity & Ownership: A drive to propose innovative ideas, experiment, and pursue continuous improvement, particularly in exploring AI that benefits real users.
