Senior/Staff Software Development Engineer, EV Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute scalable data pipelines along with backend services.

• Contribute to the data infrastructure that supports Mapbox's worldwide EV charging station coverage.

• Collaborate with new charge point operators to enhance connectivity.

• Create systems that consolidate charging station data effectively.

• Enhance data ingestion pipelines to ensure reliability and high throughput.

• Provide support to downstream Mapbox teams utilizing EV charging data.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive expertise in Rust (3+ years).

• Proven experience in developing highly available backend services and data pipelines within containerized environments on AWS.

• Familiarity with data engineering principles.

• Understanding of distributed systems.

• Excellent communication abilities in English.
