Senior/Staff Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete design process for your team, from initial discovery to final delivery, closely collaborating with PMs and engineers.

• Regularly produce high-quality, visually consistent designs that enhance overall UX with each release.

• Effectively tackle complex features with a robust engineering mindset and an understanding of the underlying technology.

• Assume responsibility for intricate, multi-dimensional challenges and drive them to successful completion with initiative and independence.

• Advocate for the user by conducting interviews, usability tests, and research to guide essential product and business decisions.

• Master the feedback loop by collecting, synthesizing, and acting on input while providing actionable critiques to elevate the work of teammates.

• Design within systems, integrating solutions into the broader n8n platform while safeguarding the overarching product vision.

• Consider edge cases, constraints, and interaction details to ensure users never encounter impossible states.

• Collaborate across teams and with other designers to maintain consistency and quality across shared patterns and components.

• Influence team strategy by shaping planning, prioritization, and scope with a strong design perspective linked to KPIs.

• Investigate and integrate AI and automation tools to expand the horizons of design practice and AI-driven workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product design with a proven impact on delivered products.

• Proficient in product design, UX, UI, and qualitative research, providing polished, detail-oriented deliverables.

• Collaborate effectively with engineers and possess an understanding of software development, including common web technologies.

• Experience shipping end-to-end features in smaller teams or startups, capable of driving complex challenges to measurable results.

• Operate efficiently in an MVP-driven environment, balancing quality and speed amidst uncertainty.

• Utilize research and metrics to guide decisions and consistently deliver solutions that support team KPIs.

• Open and constructive in critique, providing actionable feedback that enhances the team's performance.

• Passionate about AI and innovation, actively seeking out new tools and methods to enhance the craft.
