Senior/Staff Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• We are looking for a Staff Product Designer to join our expanding team and significantly influence the future of AlphaSense’s product experience.

• You will lead with design expertise, systems thinking, and a profound understanding of our customers’ workflows.

• You will spearhead strategic design initiatives—transforming complex, data-intensive challenges into intuitive, high-quality experiences that align with our customers' actual work methods.

• You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and AI teams to develop how features integrate into meaningful user experiences—from initial concept through to execution.

• As a senior member of the Design team, you will serve as a multiplier, mentoring fellow designers, contributing to our design systems and patterns, and enhancing the standards for craft and consistency across the product.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in product design, with a robust portfolio showcasing excellence in interaction design, systems thinking, and delivering high-quality, user-centered experiences.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Extensive expertise in designing comprehensive customer workflows, with a proven track record of simplifying complex, data-rich problems into intuitive, habit-forming product experiences.

• Highly skilled in design and prototyping tools, with the capability to communicate ideas through flows, systems, and high-fidelity prototypes.

• Strong collaboration skills with engineering teams, along with a working knowledge of contemporary web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with React or similar frameworks is a plus.

• A strong understanding of emerging AI and search technologies, with the curiosity and initiative to apply new capabilities to tangible product experiences.
