Senior/Mid-level MSS Analyst – OT/ICS Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the operation of monitoring and managed response services (MSS/MDR)

• Observe, assess, and investigate alerts and incidents within OT/ICS environments

• Perform root cause analyses for events related to PLCs, HMIs, and RTUs

• Link OT events with IT telemetry data

• Collaborate with the Detection Engineering team to develop and enhance use cases

• Oversee and update clients' OT asset inventories

• Engage in OT vulnerability management processes

• Act as the technical liaison during meetings with industrial clients

• Create technical and executive reports on investigations conducted

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in industrial settings (such as plants, utilities, oil & gas, manufacturing, energy, water/wastewater, or similar fields)

• Comprehensive understanding of SCADA/DCS architectures, the Purdue model, zone and conduit segmentation (IEC 62443), and IT/OT convergence

• Practical knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, historians, engineering workstations, and industrial protocols

• Strong foundational knowledge of computer networks: TCP/IP, OSI model, routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, NAT, packet capture, and traffic analysis

• Awareness of the behavioral and requirement distinctions between OT traffic and conventional IT traffic

• Prior experience in SOC, NOC, CSIRT, incident response teams, or similar roles

• Basic understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems

• Proficiency in technical English for reading documentation, advisories, and communicating with vendors/manufacturers
