Senior/Lead Software Engineer – IAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Ensuring the security, stability, and comprehensive understanding of a production IAM system.

• Taking proactive measures for vulnerability management, maintaining dependency hygiene, and addressing critical fixes.

• Contributing to or leading the technical roadmap, focusing on maintenance, improvements, and migration to a new unified IAM platform.

• Collaborating with product teams throughout the organization to define the migration strategy and facilitate the successful adoption of the new platform.

• Influencing engineering standards, including code review culture, security practices, and architectural consistency.

• Acting as a representative of the team in cross-functional discussions, clearly communicating trade-offs.

• Sharing knowledge through documentation, runbooks, onboarding processes, and providing technical mentorship.

• Engaging in on-call support for the systems you manage.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in programming.

• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.

• Experience with microservices architecture.

• Understanding of CIAM concepts, including authentication and authorization, within production systems.

• Familiarity with OpenID Connect and/or SAML is a plus.

• A proven history of making and justifying technical decisions, or a clear trajectory towards achieving this competence.
