Senior/Lead Product QA Engineer, AI Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Take responsibility for quality assurance across two mobile applications (iOS and Android) and the web platform.

• Establish the QA framework from the ground up, including risk assessments, test scenarios, regression suites, and testing environments/accounts.

• Integrate QA into the software development lifecycle beginning with the requirements phase.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define acceptance criteria.

• Execute systematic bug triage and maintain release checklists.

• Validate essential user flows, such as AI chat interactions, personalized shopping recommendations, product searches, and database responses.

• Leverage AI tools to enhance test coverage, analyze logs, streamline reporting, and facilitate rapid deployments.

• Monitor and report on crash-free rates, app store performance, support tickets, and API functionality.

• Assist in prioritizing engineering fixes.

• Design, implement, and oversee the company’s QA culture and infrastructure.

• Work closely with product and engineering leaders.

• Prevent releases that do not comply with product standards.

• Lead and expand the quality assurance team as the product evolves.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in QA roles testing both mobile products (iOS/Android) and web applications.

• Demonstrated ability to build QA infrastructure from scratch.

• Strong knowledge of client-server architecture.

• Hands-on experience with API testing tools (such as Postman/Swagger or Fiddler).

• Proficient in analyzing database behaviors using SQL.

• Able to navigate backend structures effectively.

• Experience in reviewing logs and crash reports.

• Outstanding attention to detail and a keen sense of product quality.

• Commitment to smooth animations, intuitive UI design, and an exceptional consumer product experience.

• High degree of autonomy and ownership.

• Capable of executing tasks without a predefined test plan.
