This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing the security strategy for Workday.
• Engage in all stages of the software development lifecycle, which includes gathering requirements, designing solutions, implementing them, testing, releasing, and providing hypercare support.
• Offer specialized knowledge in security architecture, ensuring effective access controls, data privacy, compliance with regulations, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain a robust business perspective to guarantee that systems are implemented in a manner that aligns with operational objectives and user requirements.
• Ensure that solutions adhere to high-quality standards, with successful delivery supported by comprehensive testing and validation practices.
• Collaborate on multiple projects concurrently, effectively managing priorities, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
• Deliver technical guidance and mentorship to fellow engineering team members, promoting professional growth and knowledge sharing.
• Continuously assess new Workday features and third-party technologies, recommending enhancements that boost system functionality and performance.
• Over 5 years of experience in Workday security administration.
• Expertise in creating, maintaining, and auditing various security groups (user-based, role-based, constrained, unconstrained, intersection, segmented, etc.).
• Proficient in configuring ISUs/ISSGs along with their domain and business process security policies, including securing Workday web services.
• Strong understanding of managing authentication policies, including authenticated login with SAML SSO, Multi-Factor Authentication, OAuth 2.0, IP restrictions, certificates, and keys.
• Enterprise-level experience in ensuring consistent, scalable, and least-privileged access in accordance with organizational policies and compliance requirements.
• Experienced in provisioning Implementer tenant access, configuring Service Center Representatives, managing migration access, and establishing proxy access policies.
• Proficient in supporting bi-annual Workday platform releases, which includes adoption planning, retiring functionalities, and performing regression testing of existing features.
• Familiar with promoting deployments through established change management and release management practices.
• Skilled in gathering requirements from users and proposing alternative design solutions.
• Comfortable collaborating with business stakeholders to diagnostically investigate and resolve business process and access challenges.
• Capable of developing a detailed implementation plan to monitor and track progress, with the ability to adapt to changes in project scope and schedule.
• Attentive to the creation of documentation to aid in knowledge transfer and the effective use of implemented solutions.
• Proficient in supporting internal controls audits through report generation, stakeholder assessment, and evidence collection.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or relevant professional experience.
