• Accountable for the creation, execution, and upkeep of the application security strategy for the Advocate Aurora Health Workday platform, including biannual updates.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and cross-functional teams to convert security requirements into configurations that facilitate role-based workflows and data security.
• Guide teams on intricate projects while mentoring junior staff members.
• Oversee security requirements, design, configuration, workflow, testing, training, auditing, implementation, and administration of both basic and advanced security in Workday.
• Execute hands-on security group, domain, and user security configurations within Workday.
• Resolve and troubleshoot issues related to Security Configuration.
• Engage in Implementations and provide ongoing support for Workday security-related activities.
• Create and implement test plans aligned with security requirements, tracking defects and ensuring resolutions.
• Conduct security impact analysis for change requests and Workday release upgrades.
• Assist in the configuration and testing of Workday security, while auditing and maintaining the existing security framework.
• Document the current and future states of Workday security configurations, along with the maintenance and support of Workday tenants.
• Suggest optimal security practices and offer effective solutions to support comprehensive business processes.
• Actively participate in the Workday community by staying informed about Workday security updates, fixes, and resolutions.
• Manage production support and change requests based on their priority.
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Workday Pro Certification issued by Workday, to be obtained within one year.
• Generally requires 5 years of experience in Workday or other pertinent ERP experience.
• Demonstrated experience in administering Workday Security, encompassing security groups, domains, and business process security.
• Strong comprehension of role-based and user-based security models and access controls.
• Experience in supporting audits, access reviews, and compliance documentation.
