This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead and support a multi-site service hub effectively.
• Initiate and oversee staffing needs, coaching, training, and corrective measures concerning employees and contracted partners, including succession planning.
• Champion the safety culture throughout the hub, encompassing contracted partners and customers.
• Conduct daily Plan of the Day calls, prioritizing and managing the dispatch schedule.
• Adopt a customer-centric approach to foster long-term relationships with clients, achieving business objectives and contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with the Customer Performance Director to prioritize and escalate customer concerns.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams such as Sales, Commercial Operations, Sourcing, Finance, and HR to achieve deliverables.
• Prioritize turbine performance to meet or exceed established performance commitments.
• Demonstrate innovation and engagement in all aspects of facility operations, aligning with individual site plans, and employing creative problem-solving with a LEAN mindset.
• Oversee operations within a multi-site service hub, ensuring weekly visits to each site while promoting a strong safety focus.
• Continue to cultivate customer relationships.
• Foster team engagement and develop talent.
• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including leadership roles.
• At least 3 years of experience in a field services or similar position within the energy sector.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the hub, which may include overnight stays.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• An Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Technical certification in Wind Energy or in the Electrical/Electronic field is preferred.
• Proficient in advanced computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet applications, email programs, facility control and management systems, and computer diagnostic tools.
• Experience in the wind turbine or energy industry.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and/or hydraulic systems, including the use of hydraulic power tools.
• Strong writing skills to fulfill contractual reporting requirements.
• Comprehensive understanding of Operations and Maintenance best practices, including planning, organizing, coordinating, executing, and controlling wind hub activities, productivity enhancements, and operational excellence in outage management.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to adapt to change and influence others.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Self-motivated, with the adaptability to take initiative and work independently.
