This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Provide leadership to facilitate a multi-site service hub.
• Initiate and support staffing needs, including coaching, training, and corrective actions for employees and contracted partners, along with succession planning.
• Champion the safety culture within the hub, encompassing both contracted partners and customers.
• Conduct daily Plan of the Day calls, prioritizing and managing the dispatch schedule.
• Employ a customer-centric approach to foster long-term relationships that achieve business objectives and fulfill contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with the Customer Performance Director (CPD).
• Prioritize and escalate customer concerns as needed.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams, including Sales, Commercial Operations, Sourcing, Finance, and HR, to achieve deliverables.
• Prioritize turbine performance to meet or exceed performance commitments.
• Demonstrate innovation and engagement in all aspects of facility operations, aligning with individual site plans and employing creative problem-solving with a LEAN mindset.
• Oversee operations within a multi-site service hub, ensuring weekly site visits to drive safety focus, enhance customer relationships, promote team engagement, and support talent development.
• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including leadership roles.
• At least 3 years of experience in field services or a similar role within the energy sector.
• Ability and willingness to travel within the hub, which may necessitate overnight stays.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Technical Certification in Wind Energy or Electrical/Electronic fields is preferred.
• Advanced computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, email programs, facility control and management systems, and diagnostic and troubleshooting tools.
• Experience in the wind turbine or energy industry is advantageous.
• Strong background in electrical, mechanical, and/or hydraulic systems, including the use of hydraulic power tools.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment needed for facility maintenance and knowledge of crane and rigging requirements.
• Proficient writing skills to fulfill contractual reporting obligations as required.
• Solid understanding of Operations and Maintenance best practices, including planning, organizing, coordinating, executing, and managing wind hub activities, productivity enhancements, and operational excellence in outage management.
• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to embrace change and influence others effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability, willingness, and adaptability to take initiative and work independently without direct supervision.
