Senior Website Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +3 more locations.

📋 Description

• Oversee a portfolio of projects involving Drupal and/or WordPress development and support, including intricate, high-profile accounts.

• Act as the main point of contact for clients and a trusted advisor.

• Convert client business requirements into actionable internal team objectives.

• Facilitate client meetings, feature demonstrations, updates, and communication regarding next steps.

• Foster client relationships that aid in contract renewals and account expansion.

• Direct onboarding sessions, kickoff calls, and transitions from build to support phases.

• Organize and maintain prioritized project backlogs.

• Assess tasks and client requests in relation to project goals and scope.

• Execute quick-win configurations, content entry, and initial troubleshooting for Drupal and/or WordPress.

• Work collaboratively with clients and cross-functional teams to eliminate obstacles and anticipate requirements.

• Project future needs and manage developers, UX/UI designers, and strategists accordingly.

• Evaluate completed design, content, ticket, and development work for quality assurance.

• Track and project budgets, timelines, hours, and overall progress of projects.

• Identify and address risks, prioritize urgent requests, and manage escalations.

• Utilize Teamwork, Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom, and Claude effectively.

• Engage in and lead meetings, standups, retrospectives, and discussions focused on process improvement.

• Oversee workloads and advocate for sustainable team pacing.

• Establish repeatable processes and mentor fellow project managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience within a digital agency, specifically leading projects on Drupal and/or WordPress.

• Demonstrated success in managing the entire lifecycle of web build projects and long-term client support initiatives.

• Proficient in agile methodologies, ticketing systems, and client documentation practices.

• Familiarity with AI tools, particularly Claude.

• Practical experience in troubleshooting bugs, managing site configurations, and handling content in Drupal and/or WordPress.

• Strong foundational knowledge of website performance, configuration, and development principles.

• Capability to balance project scope, timelines, and budgets while ensuring quality and maintaining team morale.

• Experience in forecasting and allocating resources for development project needs.

• Background in mentoring or providing guidance to project managers or team members.

• Experience in managing distributed project teams in a remote-first setting.

• Must be available during core Pacific Time Zone hours.

• Legally authorized to work in the US or Canada.
