Senior Website Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Create, customize, and maintain professional business websites.

• Develop responsive websites that are optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

• Utilize WordPress and modern website development platforms.

• Implement website functionalities such as contact forms, lead capture systems, calls-to-action, and integrations.

• Enhance website speed, performance, and user experience.

• Promptly troubleshoot and resolve website issues.

• Oversee and maintain AWS hosting environments, specifically AWS Lightsail.

• Configure and manage DNS records, Route 53, SSL certificates, backups, and snapshots.

• Monitor website uptime and server performance.

• Apply website and server security best practices.

• Prevent and address malware infections and hacking attempts.

• Provide ongoing website maintenance and support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in building and managing professional websites.

• Advanced knowledge of WordPress.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.

• Familiarity with Laravel and modern PHP development frameworks.

• Strong understanding of responsive design and UX best practices.

• Experience in optimizing website speed and performance.

• Experience in managing AWS LightSail and Ubuntu Linux servers.

• Knowledge of DNS management, SSL certificates, backups, and server security.

• Familiarity with Linux servers, Apache, Nginx, and database management.

• Experience with website security, malware prevention, and disaster recovery.

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
