Senior Web Developer – WordPress, Shopify

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of website development projects, including architecture, coding, quality assurance, and launch.

• Create and manage custom WordPress themes and their functionalities.

• Develop and sustain custom Shopify themes.

• Integrate third-party APIs and external services into projects.

• Enhance websites for accessibility, performance, Core Web Vitals, and page loading speed.

• Maintain and upgrade existing client websites through bug fixes, updates, and enhancements.

• Work closely with project managers, designers, creative teams, and other stakeholders throughout the duration of projects.

• Juggle multiple projects at once while ensuring high standards of quality in delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience in professional web development.

• Extensive experience in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins from the ground up.

• Strong proficiency with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) and ACF-driven architecture.

• In-depth knowledge of Tailwind CSS.

• Experience with modern JavaScript technologies.

• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, pull requests, and workflows based on branching.

• Experience in Shopify theme development is highly sought after.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
