This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as the primary advisor within a committed client team, collaborating closely with a Wealth Advisor and Client Experience Specialist to foster enduring relationships with a specific portfolio of Empower clients.
• Deliver an exceptional client experience by addressing needs related to onboarding, financial planning, and investor education.
• Conduct comprehensive relationship management through phone, email, and virtual meetings, with both proactive and reactive engagement.
• Maintain assets under management and attract additional assets through diligent communication, proactive education, and unwavering responsiveness.
• Serve as the intermediary between clients and various internal groups or departments within Empower Personal Wealth to effectively meet client needs.
• Clearly articulate the ‘Personal Strategy’ investment approach; recommend, implement, and review investment strategies that align with clients’ risk tolerance and financial goals, while engaging in discussions regarding portfolios, markets, and economic conditions.
• Offer clients holistic financial planning across a wide array of topics, including retirement planning, income optimization, tax-advantaged saving strategies, and education planning.
• Skillfully delegate, coach, train, and develop colleagues and resources.
• Travel to meet clients in person and cultivate strong relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 4 years of relevant work experience in a licensed Advisory role.
• Proven experience with direct client interaction, demonstrating a knowledgeable and professional demeanor.
• Advanced understanding of wealth management strategies, financial planning, tax and income optimization, and estate planning.
• Experience managing a client portfolio in a wealth management context.
• Excellent at conducting effective client consultations – consistently composed, professional, and adept at building trust and fostering long-term client relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate diverse client needs, achieve multi-product goals, and analyze and present investment portfolios to clients.
• FINRA Series 65 is required.
• FINRA fingerprinting is required upon hiring.
• Ability to meet clients in person in the Greater San Francisco Bay area.
