Senior Voice Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and implement real-time voice solutions aimed at authentication, fraud prevention, and deepfake detection products.

• Integrate and optimize voice network systems—including SIP, VoIP, telephony hardware/software, and cloud-based voice services—to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.

• Work closely with engineering, product, and customer-facing teams to deliver seamless voice-driven functionalities.

• Create and maintain a robust enterprise and carrier-grade voice infrastructure that supports high-security, high-availability environments.

• Provide architectural enhancements, optimizing performance and onboarding new platforms or vendors.

• Remain proactive in identifying emerging threats in voice security and devise strategies to mitigate them.

• Utilize workflow automation engines, monitoring tools, and deployment systems to improve resilience and efficiency of the system.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues related to voice and networking.

• Participate in cross-team technical reviews and share best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Profound knowledge of voice and data networking technologies (SIP, VoIP, PBX, IVR, SBC telephony platforms, AWS routing).

• Proven experience in architecting, implementing, and scaling cloud-native voice infrastructures on AWS or Google Cloud.

• Proficient in deploying, automating, and monitoring voice platforms for reliability and performance in high-security settings (Python, Ansible, Terraform, GitHub).

• An inclusive communicator who effectively collaborates with engineering teams, product managers, and clients.

• A demonstrated ability to provide mentorship, engage in technical reviews, and cultivate a culture of excellence throughout the organization.

• Over 5 years of experience in voice engineering or related fields; an advanced degree or industry certifications are advantageous.
