Senior Vice President of Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.

📋 Description

• Establish and implement the long-term technological vision for EverWell.

• Determine the technical direction for Timely and SalonBiz, ensuring our platforms are secure, scalable, and innovative.

• Manage platform architecture and modernization, promoting enhancements in cloud strategy, DevOps, and system reliability.

• Build and lead distributed engineering teams while cultivating a culture of trust, inclusion, and high performance.

• Take ownership of delivery KPIs, budgets, vendors, and tooling, ensuring platforms adhere to performance and security benchmarks.

• Collaborate closely with EverCommerce on compliance and risk management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in Engineering leadership positions, preferably across various SaaS products or business units.

• Demonstrated experience in leading engineering and platform teams at scale.

• Strong commercial insight.

• Deep understanding of SaaS architecture, DevOps, platform thinking, and contemporary SDLC practices.

• Capability to balance strategic thinking with practical engagement and pragmatism.

• Proven track record of fostering inclusive and high-performance engineering cultures.

• Proficient in managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
