Senior UX/UI Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Create custom UX/UI solutions specifically tailored to each client, steering clear of templates and extraneous design elements.

• Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups that emphasize usability and efficiency.

• Implement sustainable web design principles to maintain minimal page weight and optimize digital assets.

• Work in close collaboration with developers to guarantee clean and efficient implementation.

• Confidently present design concepts and strategic insights to clients.

• Conduct UX research and usability testing to guide and validate design choices.

• Oversee multiple projects concurrently, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.

• Aid in the creation of internal design systems, standards, and brand identity.

• Keep design files, assets, and component libraries well-organized.

• Remain informed about the latest trends in UX/UI, accessibility standards, and performance best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in UX/UI design, ideally within a digital or creative agency setting.

• A robust and varied portfolio that showcases strategic thinking and innovative problem-solving.

• Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or other comparable industry-standard tools.

• Strong comprehension of responsive design, accessibility standards, and web performance principles.

• Experience in presenting to and collaborating closely with clients.

• Familiarity with front-end development principles (awareness of HTML/CSS).

• Keen attention to detail in typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.

• Capability to work independently and effectively manage time in a structured remote environment.
