This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia.
• Lead the design of intricate enterprise healthcare applications catering to various user roles including clinicians, coordinators, administrators, and patients.
• Collaborate with our UX Research team to strategize and carry out user interviews, usability tests, and observational studies, translating insights into design guidance.
• Create prototypes at varying levels of fidelity — from initial concept sketches to high-fidelity, development-ready specifications — based on the team's learning requirements.
• Contribute to and help uphold design systems that guarantee consistency and accessibility throughout the product.
• Navigate healthcare regulatory and compliance challenges (such as HIPAA, clinical workflows, enterprise security, and accessibility) while maintaining a user-centered approach.
• Establish strong working relationships with product managers, engineering leads, and client stakeholders, managing these relationships with confidence rather than mere compliance.
• Present design concepts and research insights to client leadership, framing design rationale in terms of user impact and business results.
• Provide and receive specific, actionable feedback in a team environment that treats critique as a standard, ongoing practice.
• Challenge briefs that lack thorough consideration and propose a reframe alongside your pushback.
• Contribute to the advancement of our team's methodologies, processes, and shared standards by identifying gaps and suggesting enhancements.
• Thoughtfully experiment with AI-assisted design and research tools and share your learnings with the team.
• Mentor and support junior designers as the team expands.
• 3–6 years of UX design experience with a robust portfolio showcasing complex, multi-role enterprise software.
• A proven history of leveraging user research to inform — rather than just confirm — design decisions.
• Experience in healthcare, regulated sectors, or other highly complex domains is strongly preferred.
• Comfort in working within embedded, long-term client relationships alongside product and engineering teams.
• Experience in collaborating with distributed and remote-first teams.
• Proficient in Figma and comfortable with a variety of prototyping and facilitation tools (such as Miro, Whimsical, etc.).
• Capable of designing across the entire spectrum — from service blueprints and journey maps to detailed interaction specifications.
• Strong communicator able to clearly present work to non-designers, including executive audiences.
• An accessible-by-default design sensibility; familiarity with WCAG is a plus.
• Inquisitive about how healthcare systems operate and motivated by the challenge of improving them.
• Proactive: you propose solutions alongside every issue you identify.
• Resilient in fast-paced, ambiguous project environments.
• Possess a growth mindset; actively seeks and implements feedback.
• As a Senior team member, actively participate in our hiring processes by serving on interview panels for future roles across the company.
• Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
• Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
• Flexible work environment with options for remote work.
• Collaborative team culture that values innovation and creativity.
• Access to cutting-edge tools and technologies.
