This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Simplify complexity: Decompose intricate workflows and technical concepts into user-friendly, intuitive solutions.
• Ensure that complexity is managed in the background, enabling users to effectively reach their objectives with minimal friction.
• UX Design: Apply usability best practices and design patterns to develop user flows and wireframes informed by user stories and research insights, collaborating closely with product management, development, and our users.
• Visual Design: Harmonize aesthetics with functionality to design clean, user-centered interfaces. Contribute to and enhance our design system to maintain visual consistency, accessibility, and scalability across the product.
• Engage closely with our users: Collect feedback and insights from users through surveys, interviews, usability tests, and casual discussions to gain a deep understanding of user behaviors, needs, and challenges. Transform findings into actionable recommendations.
• Collaboration: Partner with product teams and the UX team to ensure user research insights are woven into the design process, fostering data-driven decisions that improve the user experience.
• You hold a Bachelor's degree in a field related to UX, HCI, or media communications OR possess a certification such as CPUX-F OR equivalent experience.
• You have a proven track record of at least 4 years in UX or product design, preferably in a data-intensive B2B software environment.
• You are passionate about providing exceptional user experiences.
• You are detail-oriented with a hands-on approach.
• You are eager to tackle complex challenges in intricate environments.
• You can confidently conduct user interviews and usability tests in both German and English.
• You are proficient with design and whiteboarding tools, such as Figma, Balsamiq, and Figjam.
• You embrace AI tools to enhance your work efficiency without sacrificing quality.
• You are excited to immerse yourself in a highly technical software domain and simplify complex functions into intuitive experiences.
• You are comfortable operating in a Linux environment.
• You have experience in contributing to and advancing design systems.
• Nice to have: Experience working in a SCRUM environment with Jira.
• Nice to have: Familiarity with Limesurvey or similar online survey tools.
