Senior UX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Overseeing the design process from start to finish for intricate features – encompassing initial problem identification, detailed specifications, support during implementation, and iterative improvements post-launch.

• Collaborating across various product domains, working closely with product and engineering teams to pinpoint opportunities and develop innovative solutions.

• Crafting user-friendly interfaces for technically intricate workflows, transforming robust functionalities into seamless user experiences.

• Confidently navigating uncertainty and advancing when requirements are unclear, asking pertinent questions, and discerning when to seek clarification versus when to proceed.

• Collaborating with researchers to formulate the right inquiries, comprehend user needs, and validate design choices with appropriate thoroughness.

• Engaging with fellow designers to exchange feedback, fostering a culture of craftsmanship and ongoing enhancement, while elevating execution standards.

• Thoughtfully integrating AI-assisted features into your designs, assisting users in harnessing AI where it provides value, both in visible and subtle ways.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing digital products, particularly with a focus on enterprise SaaS, developer tools, or technically intricate fields.

• A portfolio showcasing your ownership of complex issues from inception to completion. Additional credit for work related to workflows, data pipelines, integrations, or technical configuration interfaces.

• Strong technical fluency: You are adept at working on features that involve concepts such as data transformations, API configurations, schema mapping, and automation logic. You grasp how systems interlink and can engage deeply with engineers regarding implementation trade-offs.

• A proven history of independently driving projects – defining strategies, managing complexities, and delivering high-quality work without close supervision.

• Proficiency in Figma for design and prototyping, with experience in tools like Framer, Cursor, or code-based prototyping being an added advantage.

• Knowledge of design systems and the ability to contribute to and thoughtfully expand them.

• Outstanding interaction design instincts: You think in terms of systems, flows, states, and edge cases, anticipating potential issues before they arise.

• Excellent communication skills: You clearly articulate your reasoning, provide and receive feedback constructively, and influence decisions across various functions.

• Experience in managing ambiguity and competing priorities. You know when to assert your position and when to adapt.
