Senior Utilization Management Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assisting the Care Management team responsible for coordinating patient care.

• Executing intricate tasks associated with the overall functions and activities of the team as identified during both initial and ongoing assessments and management of patients.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 years of experience in a Hospital, Clinical setting, or a Healthcare-related field.

• 3 years of proven exceptional customer service experience.

• 3 years of Clerical and Computer experience.

• 3 years of knowledge in insurance billing and managed care.

• Coursework/Training: Completion of some college-level courses or a High School Diploma or GED equivalent; preference for courses in Medical Terminology or Medical Assistance.

• Coursework/Training: Medical Terminology or Medical Assistant or equivalent education/experience.

• Coursework/Training: CHAA or equivalent education/experience.

• CHAA certification is required within 6 months (180 days) of hire if employed in California.

• 3 years of experience with EPIC Case Management and ADT Patient Access.
