This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Direct and expand high-impact research initiatives across product development, brand strategy, and marketing. Independently carry out intricate generative and evaluative studies that reveal unmet needs, shape product vision, and mitigate risks at scale.
• Integrate advanced AI-native practices and incorporate AI into research workflows to guarantee speed, quality, and impact. Define the standards for operating AI-natively in research both internally and for our clients. Keep abreast of the latest AI-driven research techniques and tools.
• Identify connections, patterns, and relationships across teams. Ensure that insights are disseminated across teams and inform decision-making. Collaborate with senior leadership to pinpoint and advocate for the most impactful opportunities for our clients.
• Serve as the internal authority on all essential research methods, including usability testing, ethnographic research, surveys, segmentation, message testing, brand tracking, and concept validation.
• Guide designers, marketers, product managers, and other team members in conducting research, reviewing their projects, and customizing the AI-first workflow based on specific needs.
• Facilitate and lead company-wide Voice of the Customer (VoC) sessions, engaging with real customers in live forums to relay their insights directly to cross-functional teams.
• Oversee external research contractors and vendors, including scope definition, quality assurance, and budget management.
• Create and enhance a research enablement model, training designers, marketers, and product managers to confidently and consistently conduct self-serve research. Develop tools, templates, and guidance that amplify research capabilities and outcomes.
• Partner with cross-functional leadership to create and prioritize a cohesive, impact-oriented research roadmap.
• Be an effective communicator, conveying messages to peers and executives. Present compelling customer narratives to drive change and inform the strategy behind product initiatives aligned with business goals.
• Minimum of 5 years in user research positions, with experience that encompasses product, marketing, and brand research.
• Profound expertise in all principal research methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative, including statistical analysis, generative and evaluative approaches. Hands-on experience in moderating user interviews is essential.
• Experience in managing contractors, vendors, and agencies across various workstreams.
• In-depth knowledge of AI tools that support the complete research workflow.
• Advanced proficiency in UserTesting and SurveyMonkey for usability testing, survey design, and rapid feedback collection.
• Strong leadership and enabling skills to empower non-researchers to conduct reliable and efficient research.
• Proficient in English (both written and verbal).
