This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Planning and executing both qualitative and quantitative research to gain a deeper understanding of users’ needs, behaviors, motivations, and goals, which will guide product and design decisions.
• Collaborating closely with product, engineering, and design teams to offer actionable insights and deliverables.
• Identifying and executing high-impact projects, prioritizing requests, and ensuring timely delivery for results that are beneficial.
• Contributing your research and insights throughout the entire product development cycle, from discovery and exploration to launch and post-release evaluation.
• Developing research roadmaps and leading their execution.
• Offering guidance to team members and partners on research best practices.
• Building and scaling research enablement resources (such as templates, guides, and workflows) to allow teams to conduct studies efficiently and consistently.
• Supporting participant recruitment and management across internal subject matter experts (SMEs) and external customers.
• Collaborating across functions with Customer Success and Support to facilitate access to customers and streamline research efforts.
• Over 7 years of experience in user research.
• A flexible, lean, creative, and pragmatic approach to user research.
• Experience incorporating user research principles into product initiatives and UX design.
• Strong understanding of the various research methods' strengths and weaknesses, including when and how to apply them throughout the product development cycle.
• Proven track record of collaborating closely with Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers to prioritize research projects.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; able to convey complex concepts clearly, succinctly, and persuasively to diverse audiences and various levels of the organization.
• Comprehensive experience with all aspects of the research process, including road mapping, study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting, and communicating results through executive presentations.
• A demonstrated history of influencing outcomes through actionable research insights.
• Experience designing research for AI-driven products (e.g., copilots, agents, recommendation systems).
• Ability to translate AI capabilities into user-facing implications and relevant research questions.
• Familiarity with human-AI interaction patterns (assistive, autonomous, human-in-the-loop).
• A BS (or equivalent) degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or a related field.
• A sense of humor is highly valued.
